Informal Educators:
The Wade Institute works closely with informal educators for many of our programs. As partners, they teach K-12 educators how to develop exciting, hands-on, minds-on science lessons and investigations during our Summer Professional Development Institutes. As participants, they enrich their own institution’s educational offerings by learning from science content experts during our Professional Development Seminar series.
The following offerings will provide you with opportunities to collaborate with other informal educators and connect with classroom educators, all while expanding the inquiry-based programs and resources at your institution.
Partner with the Wade Institute to help strengthen the relationship between informal and classroom educators and expand the reach of your programs for students and teachers. Interact with K-12 teachers as you engage them in indoor and outdoor inquiry-based investigations at your institution, introduce them to your resources for teachers and students and share your organization’s expertise. Or sign up as a participant and enhance your own STEM content knowledge and inquiry-based skills while benefiting from the expertise of your fellow educators and our regional partners. Read More…
